Please be advised that during the summer months we do not deliver oil on a daily basis, and we do not offer deliveries on weekends. We ask that all call in customers plan accordingly and allow 1 to 3 days for delivery.
To protect our employees we are asking customers to observe the following
- Avoid interaction with our oil delivery drivers whenever possible. Do not invite a driver into your home to write a check for your bill. Please allow them to leave your ticket and envelope, and mail your check in at a later time. Our office can process credit card payments by phone, and you can also enroll in automatic bill pay.
- If you have scheduled service, please notify us if you or someone you have come into contact with is experiencing symptoms consistent with Coronavirus. Non-essential service can be postponed if necessary. All customers are being asked to avoid close contact with our technicians while they are in your home.
- If you have any additional concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our office.

Nelson Oil was founded by John Nelson. Returning from WWII, he served as a heating and refrigeration technician at Quonset Point. In 1963 he purchased his first delivery truck and began making on-call deliveries. Soon after, furnace repair services were offered to our customers. The company has grown since then but has remained a family operated business. Our delivery service currently operates with three trucks and we provide expert service with our long-time technician.
